What is cancer?

Cancer medically is defined as the disease in which a cell group undergoes enormous growth compared with the other cells and sometimes disturbs the growth of other cells which is called as intrusion. The medical term of cancer is malignant neoplasm. Those cells which are affected by cancer are called the tumor cells. The branch of science that deals with the study of cancer is called oncology. Oncology explains the analysis and treatment of cancer.


Peoples of different ages are affected due to cancer but the effects vary depending upon their age, (i.e.) the risk increases with their increasing age. Cancer is caused mainly strange carcinogen effects like tobacco and many other harmful infections.

The pain of cancer disease is bearable only to a certain extent. In some cases the pain of cancer is worst and is unbearable.
The treatments that are given to cancer are even worse. They generate great pains on nerves, bones and organs. Cancer surgeries also generate more pain.
Some of the types of cancer treatments are chemotherapy, radiation therapy and biological therapy. Even though these treatments produce some pains, there are certain ways to reduce pains. There is a treatment called controlling cancer pain to reduce pain.

Cancer prevention:

There are many risk factors that spread the cancer disease widely. The best ant the foremost way of preventing cancer is undergoing a disciplined life. Intake of tobacco through smoking, excessive alcoholic intake, unsafe sex and contaminated syringes which spread hepatitis B and C are some ways of spreading cancer.

So all people are requested to undergo a disciplined life to keep themselves safe from diseases and to undergo a healthy life.
